Welcome to my project portfolio! I’m Iris Teunissen, a dedicated professional specializing in production and communication projects.
In the last few years I got the privilege of working on a variety of interesting projects, which you can discover on this page.

Noordheuvel vzw
In March 2025 I had the privilege of launching the new website of Noordheuvel vzw from Brasschaat. I worked with the provided content and created a budget-friendly basic website with WordPress, after the previous site was very outdated. It has become a solid foundation to continue building on! It’s great to be able to launch such a great project after only 2 months of employment at OLO-Rotonde vzw. On to the next project!
Festival of Flanders
In 2024 I worked for Festival of Flanders Mechelen/Kempen for 11 months under temporary contracts. In the first 7 months as head of communication and PR for festival Lunalia and Musica Divina. I focused on social media, photography and promotion. Festival Lunalia had a record edition with over 5.000 visitors!
After that I further supported the team as assitant production and communication. In November and December 2024 I was responsible for the production of the event ‘The warmest night of talent’ in Mechelen. During this event 4 new ensembles got the chance to present their new project.
City of Lier
In 2023, I worked as an internal communications consultant at the city of Lier. Over the span of seven months, I focused on enhancing employer branding, content creation, and the further development of the internal communication platform.
In September of the same year, I spearheaded a recruitment campaign that featured elements such as custom-printed bread bags, citywide banners, prominent presence at diverse events, and more.
Swing Wespelaar
From November 2023 to December 2024, I was on the board of the non-profit organisation behind the blues festival Swing Wespelaar. With doing so, I wanted to do my bit for the music scene in Belgium. I focused on rejuvenating the festival’s communication through a rebranding and the further development of social media. I am also the founder of ‘Preach the blues’, a project to give young talent a stage.
The 36th edition that took place in August 2024 was a great success. Many new people (national and international) found their way to the small village of Wespelaar, Belgium. This was partly due to a good focus on online advertising and a better target group definition. In one year the organic reach on social media increased by about 45%.
Stef Paglia
Since 2019, I am working behind the scenes for my partner Stef Paglia, who is a guitarist. I really enjoy going on the road with the band and helping out as a tourmanager, working on improving the social media, and photographing concerts. Also, the lyrics of Stef’s songs are by my hand. Writing is a great passion of mine!
